Managua, April 17, 2024 ā Keiser University is proud to announce the second edition of the Logistics Fair, to be held at the Crowne Plaza Convention Center in September 2024. This leading industry event will connect major suppliers and professionals in logistics, foreign trade, and freight, as well as public institutions and specialized academics.
During the two-day event, participants will have access to specialized conferences, a comprehensive platform for establishing business relationships, expanding networks, and discovering the latest innovations in the sector. The fair will feature over 50 national and international exhibitors showcasing a wide range of products and services aimed at improving logistical processes and providing competitive advantages in the context of nearshoring.
Mr. Leonardo DĆaz, Director of Marketing, Development, and Business Administration Program at Keiser University, highlighted: “This fair is not only a platform to showcase the latest technologies and services in logistics but also an exceptional opportunity to learn and collaborate. We are committed to supporting and promoting integration among key sector players to enhance competitiveness in Nicaragua and the region.”
The sessions will focus on four key thematic areas: Strategic Planning, Warehouses and Inventories, Logistics, Distribution and Transport, and Technology and Innovation, including e-commerce and last-mile logistics. Additionally, some sponsoring companies will open their doors to showcase their facilities through on-site visits, providing a practical view of their operations.
“We are confident that the second edition of the Logistics Fair will be a milestone in the sector’s event calendar and will attract even more participation from regional and South American companies,” added DĆaz.
The Logistics Fair emerges as a key event to promote integration among various relevant actors in our society, with the goal of strengthening supply chains in Nicaragua through collaboration and integration, with a view to improving competitiveness in our country.
Last year, the fair provided companies in services, equipment, technology, logistics, banking, and other sectors the opportunity to highlight their activities in Nicaragua, demonstrating the level of update of these companies. We also had the support as organizers from The Business Logistics Chamber, which supported us in this project and trusted in the scope and reach it would generate for the Logistics sector of Nicaragua.
In the previous edition of the fair, more than 38 companies participated, presenting their stands. Additionally, during the two days of the event, specialized conferences were held, attended by numerous collaborators from companies interested in updating on various specialized topics.
Throughout the two days of the fair, we received visits from representatives of public sector companies, as well as professionals, generating business opportunities among exhibitors and visitors.
It is important to highlight that this fair captured the interest of companies in the region, who expressed their desire to participate in the second edition, considering Nicaragua as a country full of opportunities. It was also recognized by specialized logistics magazines in Latin America, such as MOVANT CONNECTIONS and FORBES CA, among others.
For this new edition of the Logistics Fair, we expect a greater participation of regional and South American companies, as well as the presence of professionals and academics who contribute to strengthening and consolidating a specialized and recognized event in Central America and Nicaragua.
