Mrs. Perez has 10 years of experience in different areas of the education industry. Her main research interests are Foreign Direct Investment, Financial Liberalization, Economic History and Macroeconomic issues in Latin America. Mrs. Perez has published articles in journals and participated in seminars and events at Instituto de Investigaciones Económicas (IIEC) in Mexico City.

Professor Atha joined Keiser University ā Latin American Campus in 2017 and has served as Director of Student Services, Director of Admissions, and is currently a full-time professor of Political Science and Department Chair. Professor Atha served 21 years in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Aviator and Foreign Area Officer, attaining the rank of Commander.
