Mrs. Serrano holds an LLM in Corporate Law and Finance from Widener University School of Law, a Bachelor of Law from Universidad Centroamericana (UCA), and a Diploma in Advanced Studies in Mediation and Arbitration. She has served as a Senior Lawyer in Corporate Law, providing expertise in company incorporation, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, and investment. Currently, she is President of R&S Servicios Jurídicos and has held previous roles, including Senior Lawyer at Consultores Profesionales S.A., and Head of the Investment and Regulated Sector Department at Bufete Taboada & Asociados.
In addition to her legal career, Mrs. Serrano has acted as an External Consultant in Public and Social Law, UNDP Expert, and university professor in Nicaragua. Fluent in Spanish, English, French, and Italian, she is a member of the Evaluating Peers Committee and has spoken on the Right to Information in international forums, including events organized by LIMAC and the OAS.
