Dr. Hernández joined Keiser University – Latin American Campus in 2021 and has since dedicated himself to teaching Intermediate and College Algebra. Beyond his role at Keiser University, he has taught at several prestigious universities in Nicaragua, where he instructs courses in Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, Statistics, and Programming.
With specialized training in Operations Research, Heuristics and Metaheuristics, Digital Image Processing, and Mathematics Didactics, Dr. Hernández leverages his expertise to engage students and enrich their learning experience.
His current research focuses on two primary areas: the design and implementation of a heuristic model to improve teaching and learning in Mathematics Didactics, and theoretical applications of Generalized Vehicle Routing Problems. Both projects have been accepted for presentation at conferences in Cuba, Costa Rica, and Mexico, underscoring his commitment to advancing knowledge in his field.
