Mr. Wilkins joined Keiser University Latin American University in 2016 as an online adjunct professor. He has taught Composition I and Composition II. Holding a B.A. and an M.A. in English, he is currently ABD (“All But Dissertation”) in the doctoral program at Binghamton University, a flagship institution in the State University of New York system. He specializes in the following fields: College Writing, 19th Century American Literature, Trans-Atlantic Modernist Literature, and Literary Theory.
In addition to teaching at Keiser, Prof. Wilkins also teaches full-time in the Humanities Department at OSSM, a STEM-focused boarding school in Oklahoma. Consistently ranked in the top ten public schools in the USA, OSSM offers university-equivalent courses to gifted and talented high school juniors and seniors. Prof. Wilkins teaches American Literature I, American Literature II, Science Fiction, and Composition. All of these classes use university curricula and are honors-level or above.
In the past, Prof. Wilkins has taught Business Writing, Shakespeare, and Post-Colonial Literature at other institutions and has worked in small businesses, focusing on communications, customer service, strategic growth, and human resources.
