Prof. Valdivia graduated cum laude from Georgetown University with a Master’s degree in Latin American Studies, specializing in Political Economy. She served as Director General for Latin America and the Caribbean in Nicaragua’s Foreign Ministry, overseeing the country’s regional diplomatic agenda and coordinating Nicaragua’s participation in various integration and cooperation mechanisms. She later assumed the role of Vice Dean and professor in the Faculty of Diplomacy and International Relations at a local university. Prof. Valdivia has been teaching at Keiser University since 2021 and has over 20 years of experience as a college professor.
