M.I.T. American InterContinental University
He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Miami and a Master of Information Technology from American InterContinental University. He recently completed a Graduate Certificate in 2019 in Software Engineering with a specialization in Web Development from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
He began working in the IT industry during high school, where he programmed Apple II computers and developed software on Atari computers using Atari BASIC. While in college, he created applications for the medical industry using a relational database named Paradox. When multiuser systems started to become more common, even before the rise of the Internet, he delved into installing and configuring Novell Advanced Netware network operating systems. Later, he transitioned to implementing Microsoft Windows NT networks. He achieved his Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification under Windows 2000 and also acquired the Microsoft Certified Database Administer (MCDBA) certification, which demonstrates proficiency in designing and implementing databases in Microsoft SQL Server. After his teaching stint, he pursued and secured his CompTIA A+ and Security+ certifications, emblematic of his expertise in computer hardware, operating systems, and network security principles.
In terms of programming, he’s fluent in multiple languages: BASIC, Visual Basic, Java, C, C++, T-SQL, PL/SQL, C#, JavaScript, and Python. He doesn’t have a favorite language, understanding that each comes with its own strengths and weaknesses. To him, comparing them would be like asking a construction worker to choose between their hammer and their screwdriver. Both tools have their unique purposes, and one isn’t necessarily superior to the other.
