Professor Atha joined Keiser University – Latin American Campus in 2017 and has served as Director of Student Services, Director of Admissions, and is currently a full-time professor of Political Science and Department Chair. Professor Atha served 21 years in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Aviator and Foreign Area Officer, attaining the rank of Commander.
Professor Atha is fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian

Mr. Urrutia has more than five years of experience working with programming languages and databases, including Java, C#, PHP, and MySql. Also, he has experience developing front-end and back-end applications for many companies, using frameworks and libraries like Xamarin, Laravel, and Reactjs. In his understanding of artificial intelligence, he maintains a firm stance regarding the impossibility of having conscious computer programs.



Mr. Félix Urrutia

Mr. Pedro Mendoza
Director of the Spanish Bachelor’s Degree Program
MSc. Pedro Mendoza is an IT specialist with extensive experience in educational technology, network administration, and university-level teaching. He holds a Master’s in Business Informatics and postgraduate degrees in E-commerce and Virtual Education. He currently serves as Educational Platform Administrator at Keiser University Latin American Campus.


Ms. Raquel Hurtado

She began her career in 1996 at GBM as a sales assistant and joined the academic sector in 1998 at Universidad Americana, where she held various roles, from technology area assistant to Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.
Since 2000, she has taught various IT-related courses and specialized training, collaborating with governmental and private institutions. Currently, she is the Academic Director of Postgraduate Programs at Keiser University Latin American Campus, overseeing academic programs and developing new proposals, while also teaching. She views teaching as a valuable exchange of knowledge.

Ms. Salvadora Espinoza joined Keiser University in 2016. She has vast experience in management fields within multinational and ONG corporations. With over 10 years of experience managing teams, Mrs. Espinoza served as a coordinator of SEAL students at Keiser University.


Alejandra Mora, M.A. TEFL

- A. in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Universidad Centroamericana (UCA), Nicaragua.
Maria Alejandra Mora has over 25 years of teaching experience. She holds a master’s degree in teaching English as a Foreign Language from Universidad de Jaen and is currently pursuing a master’s in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Universidad Internacional del Atlántico, as well as a master’s in Spanish Linguistics from Universidad Iberoamericana.
She is an International Certified Teacher Trainer from SIT and Centro Espiral Mana, and a TESOL Certified Instructor by Hunter College. Her interests include reading, curriculum development, teacher training, and writing.
