Keiser University means a whole lot of wonderful things to me. My time there represented growth as a person, new challenges to overcome, friends that became family, and most importantly for me, a place to come face to face with the real love of God through all of my experiences there.
Back in 2015 when I first arrived at KU, I kept thinking to myself that I had done a big mistake. I felt that I was way out of my comfort zone by living abroad and away from my family, by moving into a place where I didn’t know anyone, and most terrifyingly by enrolling without being able to speak a drop of English. However, through my days there I came to realize that I had been extremely blessed with my opportunity to attend KU. On one hand, I met a new family that supported and encouraged me to face my fears and carry onward, and on the other hand, I had met with God closely through Father Robert, Faith in Action, and every other person showed me that God is love and everyone deserves his love.
I graduated Cum Laude in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. There is no doubt in me about how KU has been one of my greatest blessings yet. I am another person with new knowledge and the power to give the best of me every day. I learned not to be afraid of any challenge I face. Today, I have a stable job in the business world as a Manager in a good company, and I am pursuing an MBA to further expand my skills. I strive daily to improve and challenge myself to take any and all opportunities to show what I know and who I am.
