Dr. Vasquez received his Ph.D. from the University of Mondragon in Spain, where his thesis focused on using computer vision and machine learning for medical diagnostic purposes. He also earned a Licentiate of Engineering degree from the University of Lund in Sweden for his research on signal processing for medical diagnostics in patients with chronic kidney disease. At Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, he studied analog IC design, working on a voltage regulation source for hearing aids. He graduated in Electronic Engineering from the Engineering University in Managua. Dr. Vasquez has also worked as a consultant and IT support director for government and private institutions.
Dr. Vasquez joined Keiser University – Latin American Campus in 2021, where he teaches courses in Software Engineering. He has received training and specialized in the following fields: computer algorithms, software engineering, machine learning, probability and stochastic processes, and computer vision
