Accounting with concentration in International Accounting
The Bachelor of Arts in Accounting provides unique skills needed in various areas of accounting such as: tax, auditing, management, cost, financial, governmental, and accounting information systems, as well as general business courses. The International Accounting Concentration is geared towards International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), designed to bring consistency to accounting language, practices, and statements, to help businesses and investors to make educated financial analyses and decisions.
Skills you will develop
- Prepare professionals with solid theoretical and practical bases related to the different areas of specialty within accounting.
- Identify problems of a financial accounting nature that will allow us to understand and analyze, from a financial, economic, social, and ethical perspective, the national and international financial accounting information system and solve problems.
- Acquire skills in accounting/tax and business computer applications.
- Understand the legal, regulatory and professional standards with accounting situations.

MSc. Pedro Mendoza joined Keiser University in 2021, where he is teaching courses in Application Support, Implementing Directory Services, Introduction to Computers, Management Information Systems, Managing/Maintaining Server Operating Systems and Multi-User Operating Systems. He has received training and specialized in the following fields: Computer Audit Meycor COBIT, Network Management, Computer forensics, Zimbra Open-Source Server, and Management Administration and Strategic Direction.
He teaches in Associates (AA) and Business Administration in Spanish (BABAS) Programs in Managua.
